Any feed format — RSS 2.0, RSS 1.0/RDF, Atom 1.0, JSON Feed 1.x, auto-detected
Multiple feeds, one widget — items are merged, deduped, and sorted newest first
Three views — list (headlines with optional descriptions and thumbnails), compact (dense one-liners), rotator (one story at a time)
Thumbnails — pulled from media:thumbnail, media:content, image enclosures, or the first image in the story body
Resilient — one broken feed never blanks the widget; a subtle footer notes unavailable feeds
Safe — feed content is never rendered as HTML; everything is sanitized to plain text
Zero dependencies — parses with the browser's own DOMParser; 14 kB bundle

Works with self-hosted aggregators too (FreshRSS, Miniflux, Tiny Tiny RSS): point a feed at your instance's RSS output URL. The localNetwork permission lets the proxy reach LAN addresses.
